1. ‘Jeevan Pramaan’ :an Online Facility for Pensioners,Pensioners can now digitally log in to give life certificates; no longer required to show up in person.

2. mobile number portability (MNP): Government has asked telecom firms to implement full mobile number portability by May 3 ,2015, a move that will enable subscribers to retain their numbers when they shift to other states or licensed service areas. Currently, MNP norms allow users to retain their numbers while changing their operators within the same service area. India has 22 telecom circles, or service areas.

3. U Thein Sein,: PM Modi today met the President of Myanmar, Mr. U Thein Sein, This was the first meeting between the two leaders, and focus was on connectivity, cultural contacts and commercial ties.

4. NSE and BSE, the two premier stock exchanges in India, will suspend trading in stocks of two Vijay Mallya-led companies, Kingfisher Airlines and UB Engineering, from December 1 for non-compliance of listing rules. The exchanges will also suspend trading of UB Engineering Ltd, part of Mallya’s UB Group, from Dec. 1 .

15. India stood at 7th place in World List for Peer citations in Research Journals. India stood at 2nd rank in the Asiatic region. In this Asiatic region first place was attained by China. India is having 14000 citations where as China is having 36000 citable documents in the accounting, management and business area.

16. Repatriation of Prisoners Act 2003: Under this act, Nigeria and India has signed a treaty which will will facilitate Indian Prisoners imprisoned in Nigeria and vice versa. –
